Literature study at TLR is about getting down to the business of building a Lifetime Recovery. The evening begins with awesome dinner and is then followed by a great recovery meeting. The meeting begins with a group reading from a passage of one of the primary texts of 12 Step recovery and is followed by a rich discussion of the principles of recovery and successful living. Right now the groups are studying portions from the first 164 pages of The Big Book of AA. Participants are also invited to share in the meeting about struggles and challenges in their journey. The meeting closes with members sharing “day-counts” celebrating the miracles of recovery.
